Snapshot of JIS Guidelines

For your convenience, we have created a snapshot version of the JIS Guidelines. This Snapshot is a tool for members of a JIS Collaborative who want a simple listing of the Guidelines for use as a reference in planning meetings; to introduce new members to JIS development; as a checklist for assessing progress in developing Juvenile Information Sharing. Privacy and Security Impact Assessment Template

This template was designed as part of the Guidelines for Information Sharing Toolkit. It allows juvenile justice and other serving agencies to conduct a Privacy and Security Impact Assessment for Juvenile Information Sharing (JIS) which was recommended in guideline #15. This assesment identifies potential risks to privacy and gives solutions and policies that minimize those risks.

Memorandum of Understanding

The Memorandum of Understanding verifies that each participating agency agrees upon arrangements of policies, procedures, responsibilities, and resources for the JIS. This toolkit provides a list of provisions, descriptions, examples and a template.
